I generally stick to just one powder – the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder because it is the best powder I have ever used. I have tried other powders and am still on the hunt for another good powder to try out – if you have any suggestions please let me know!

I finally decided to try a different powder after using my trusted Rimmel London Stay Matte powder for years. I tried out the Maybelline Fit Me Powder and I have to say I wasn’t really a fan.
First of all I really don’t like the packaging, the powder pan is round in square packaging this means all the powder goes over the edge and you end up loosing and wasting a lot of the product. There is a little sponge in the bottom compartment which makes the packaging thicker and more bulky. This was annoying as it takes up a lot of space in my make up bag.
If I had to recommend a face powder I would have to say the Rimmel London Stay Matte pressed powder! If you haven’t tried it I would definitely suggest you do so as it is the perfect dupe for a high end powder.
It lasts around 6 hours, which is great for an inexpensive product. As it is matte, it gets rid of any shine on your face and works for all skin types. The coverage is good and there are a range of shades for all skin tones. The powder is light and so it doesn’t clog up your pores which is amazing! It also keeps my make up in place and doesn’t make it look thick or as if I have lots of make up on.
As some of you may know the Sleek contour kit is my holy-grail favourite contouring palette. And so, because of this it was a bit of a stretch for me to use something else but I thought I would give it a go and try out the Seventeen contour kit. For only £5.99 it is good value for money for what you get.
