Blusher Reviews

I love trying different shades of blushers including oranges, reds, pinks and plum colours. I have been pleasantly surprised from trying different blushers and have found that different colours suit me better. I think most people stick to reds and pinks but actually other shades can look just as good, if not better and definitely more natural.

I would love to know what your favourite brand and shade of blusher is!

Blushing hearts

am obsessed with the I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Triple Baked Blushers! They look exactly like the Too Faced Sweetheart blushers but for a much cheaper price; I am not sure how similar the actual product is as I haven’t tried the Too Faced one before. I have never tried any products from I Heart London before and I am extremely impressed! I have the shade Queen Of Hearts, I did originally want a different shade but this was the only one they had when I went into Superdrug but it looked really pretty so I bought it anyway!

As it is a triple bakes blush there are three shades starting from a pink to a coral to a light pinky/orange. They are really shimmery which adds a lovely shine to my face without looking too overpowering or sparkly.

Sleek Face Form

Sleek Makeup is one of my favourite makeup brands I think it is very under-rated and many people think it is expensive but it really isn’t! I recently bought their Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette which consists of a blusher, bronzer and highlighting trio. I do already have these products individually but I wanted a trio for travelling as it is much easier.

The sleek Face Form Contour and Blush palette is amazing the packaging isn’t too large so it is perfect for travelling and there is a good amount of product included. As always sleek packaging always looks really high end and clean, and this trio is no exception. I love that the products don’t spread into each other and there is very little fall out.

Collection blusher

I was looking through my make up a couple of months ago and found a Collection blush in the shade 04 Trouble. I don’t think I had ever used it before but it was so pretty I have started using it as part of my everyday make up to replace my Sleek palette.

I have been using this blush religiously now for the last couple of months. It is a subtle pink shade which adds a rosy look to my cheeks. What I love most about the blush is that it has a slight shimmer to it which acts as the perfect everyday highlight for when I don’t want to have too much make up on. It can be built up for more of a pinker and shimmery look and can also be used just as a highlight. I think this blush could also act as the perfect shimmery eyeshadow!

Unfortunately in England we don’t have a Sephora, so of course when I leave the country I have to go to one! When I went to France a few months ago I luckily found a Sephora; one thing I bought was a Sephora blusher in the shade dazzling pink. Its a dark pinky-red colour which, when you apply, starts off subtly but can be built up to a darker shade.

The blusher, despite being a powder, blends into the skin and feels hydrating. It  is long lasting and adds a beautiful glow and pinky colour to the skin. It is more of a matte shade which I personally prefer as I don’t like my face to look too shiny or packed with make up.

One of my favourite makeup brands has to be Sleek; the packaging looks high-end and they are extremely pigmented but at an affordable price.

One of my personal favourite products is the face contour kit in the shade Light 884, which includes a matte powder bronzer and highlighter. The bronzer is the perfect shade for contouring my face and the highlighter adds a light shine and shimmer. The packaging is the perfect travel size but has enough product to last a long time; and also includes a mirror which is just an extra bonus!
