I typically would never dream of spending £40 on make up but when I saw the Tarte Tartelette In Bloom palette I knew I wanted it! It took me ages to actually buy my palette as I didn’t want to buy it in the UK because shipping and customs is very expensive and really not worth it. Instead I bought mine when I was in America during the summer, and I was happy to spend the money because the shades are all so wearable and perfect for everyday that I knew I would get so much use out of it.
All of the shades in the palette are so wearable and perfect for both everyday and evening looks. They are all neutral shades which I love as it goes with everything and doesn’t look too overpowering. I choose the In Bloom palette which has a mixture of matte and shimmery shades which are all so pretty. Tarte also do the original Tartelette palette which is just matte shades if you prefer that. I do mostly wear the matte shades but I like to add a little shimmer if I am going out in the evening. All the shades are super pigmented and are really easy to blend which is great if your not that great at eyeshadow like me! You can create subtle looks but also build it up, it really is a very diverse palette which is perfect for all occasions.
The packaging is so pretty and really stands out. It has a really large mirror which is great for travelling. It is a large palette but it is quite thin compared to other palettes which makes it easy to carry in your bag. The palette smells like chocolate too which is great!
Pros and Cons:
- All the shades are very wearable for everyday and evening use.
- The shades are very pigmented and last a long time.
- There is no fall out.
- There is lots of product in the palette.
- It is very difficult to get in the UK.
- It is expensive ($46).
This is definitely the best palette I have all the shades are very wearable and lasts a long time. It is expensive but I am so glad I spent the money.
