For as long as I can remember I have wanted the Benefit Hoola Bronzer but I could never commit to spending that much on a bronzer. For my birthday my boyfriend surprised me with it! It was the best present and I am completely obsessed with it!
The Benefit Hoola Bronzer is perfect for both day and night as it is easy to build up. For an everyday look I apply it very lightly just to add a little contour and a natural bronzed look. For an evening look I apply it slightly darker, but I still stick with a natural look. Despite me loving matte products I don’t usually go for a matte bronzer but I LOVE this one so much and it has replaced both my Rimmel London and The Body Shop bronzers. It is one shade which is perfect for all skin types, as long as you blend it in and don’t use too much product at once! It doesn’t look thick or patchy on my face and lasts a really long time.
The packaging is small and compact which makes it easy to carry around in my bag. It also comes with a thin brush which means you don’t have to carry around another brush if you didn’t want to. the lid is sealed by a magnet which ensures it won’t open and spill in your bag. The product is also very compact and so there isn’t lots of excess product in the packaging.
Pros and Cons:
- It is very pigmented.
- A little goes a long way.
- There is a lot of product so it lasts a long time.
- It is expensive (£24.50).
Despite it being an expensive bronzer I will definitely be repurchasing as I love it so much and it lasts a really long time which I feel justifies for the expense.

I have been trying out and loving the Vasanti Exfoliating Cleanser for the past few months. It removes all the leftover makeup and dirt from my face and exfoliates really well.
What I love most about this exfoliating cleanser is that the exfoliating beads are extremely small compared to other exfoliators I have used. This helps it to really get into my skin and leaves it feeling clean and clear. Once you have used it my skin is left feeling really soft and smooth. It helps my make up to sit better on my face and clean out my pores.
You only need to use a small amount and a little goes a long way! I have a small tube which has already lasted me lots of uses. Once I have used it my face isn’t left looking red, like some exfoliator’s cause. I add a moisturiser after for extra protection and keeping my face rejuvenated.
Pros and Cons:
- Doesn’t cause redness on my face after use.
- Cleans and clears my skin well.
- The full size is expensive (£31.50)
I am not sure if I will purchase the full size bottle as it is quite expensive and I would like to try a few more cheaper alternatives to see how they compare to this one before I commit to spending the money. I would love to know what your favourite exfoliator’s are!

After struggling to find a good foundation which also matches my skin tone I think I’ve finally found the perfect foundation. I have been using Clinique Chubby in the Nude foundation in the shade 02 and it is so good!
It is a very lightweight and sheer foundation which I never thought I would like but I actually really do! Being a stick foundation it has taken some time to get use to and learn how much to apply but I think after about a month now I am getting used to it. Being a cream foundation it is really easy to blend into the skin and if can be built up easily. The shade matched up really well to my natural skin tone and this will be my go-to foundation for the summer as it is a light coverage. It lasts all day and doesn’t become patchy over time.
It is really easy to carry around in your bag and being a stick, cream foundation means it won’t spill in your bag which is an extra bonus!!
Pros and Cons:
- Creates a very natural, light coverage, look.
- Easy to blend in and build up.
- Lasts a long time.
- It is quite expensive (£24).
- Does not create a full coverage look.
This has become my go-to foundation which I never thought would happen as I love a full coverage foundation!

I had really dry lips throughout the winter and was looking for a thicker and more nourishing lip balm to help repair my lips. Since rediscovering my love for my Maybelline Pink Punch Baby Lips, I decided to try out the Dr Rescue Baby Lips to try and help.
I have used the Baby Lips Dr Rescue everyday since I got it and it has helped my lips so much! It contains menthol which helps to repair your lips but it isn’t too strong so they don’t sting as some lip balms do. It is clear so only adds a slight shine which I like for everyday. It nourishes my lips and leaves them feeling really soft and smooth. This lip balm also lasts a really long time on my lips and helps keep them nice. I use it throughout the day topping up when I need to or if my lips are feeling a little dry.
Pros and Cons:
- Has dramatically repaired my lips.
- Very affordable (£3.99).
- Nourishing and hydrating on my lips.
- The formula is quite thick and soft which causes a lot of product to come off at once.
They last a really long time and it has been perfect helping me through the winter months. During the winter I used it along side the Lush lip scrub but now as its getting warmer I’m using it on its own and it is still working just as well helping maintain my lips.

I have been loving using the Clinique Turnaround Daytime Revitalising Moisturiser over the last few weeks and it has replaced my previous moisturiser.
I apply the moisturiser all over my face before applying the rest of my make up. It adds a lovely glow throughout my face and leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished. It gives me reassurance that my face is still being hydrated underneath all my make up. It also helps keep my make up lasting longer and my foundation applies better when I use it.
I apply it all over my face, give it a few minutes to settle down and then I apply my usual make up. You only need the smallest amount as a little goes a long way! It leaves my skin feeling nourished and protected. It keeps my make up lasting longer and applies better. It leaves my face feeling softer and looking brighter; it doesn’t make my face look oily or greasy.
Pros and Cons:
- Nourishes and hydrates my skin.
- You only need to use a little bit, so it lasts a while.
- Reduced the dryness in my skin.
- Very lightweight.
I received a sample of this moisturiser and it has lasted me a lot longer than typical samples as you only need a small amount. I really feel it is worth the money, it as this has reduced the dryness in my skin and has really helped improve my skin overall.
I would love to know what your favourite moisturiser is!

One of my all time favourite scents has to be the Hollister Solana Beach body mist. which is the light blue one! I remember once being in Hollister for over 20 minutes smelling every scent to see which one I liked best!
Solana Beach smells fresh and light and the perfect summer smell. As it is a body spray I always spray a generous amount on me as it can fade quite quickly otherwise. It is quite a noticeable scent which I really like because there is nothing worse than no one else being able to smell your spray other than you!
The bottles last ages and so I rarely buy a new one. I recently went to get a new one and saw that the had changed their packaging. I think the new packaging is bigger than the previous and so it will last even longer! I always find that Hollister body sprays aren’t too expensive for what you get as they last forever; and they always have deals on the sprays.
Pros and Cons:
- It smells amazing.
- The bottles are big so it will last a while.
- They have lots of different scents to appeal to everyone.
- It is expensive for a body mist (£11).
- The packaging is bulky making it harder to travel with.
I would love to know what your favourite Hollister spray is!

I was looking through my make up a couple of months ago and found a Collection blush in the shade 04 Trouble. I don’t think I had ever used it before but it was so pretty I have started using it as part of my everyday make up to replace my Sleek palette.
I have been using this blush religiously now for the last couple of months. It is a subtle pink shade which adds a rosy look to my cheeks. What I love most about the blush is that it has a slight shimmer to it which acts as the perfect everyday highlight for when I don’t want to have too much make up on. It can be built up for more of a pinker and shimmery look and can also be used just as a highlight. I think this blush could also act as the perfect shimmery eyeshadow!
The packaging is extremely compact and easy to carry around. Despite it being small there is actually a lot of product and It looks like it’s going to take me ages to finish it! It is inexpensive and they have lots of different colours in the range with I am definitely going to be checking out, since I’ve fallen in love with this one!
Pros and Cons:
- Very affordable.
- There is a lot of product included.
- Compact and easy to travel with.
- Not very pigmented and has to be built up.
Let me know if you have tried the Collection blushes and what shade you like.
